My husbands chose his best man because they’ve been friends for a long time and his best man already agreed to be there. He got measured for his tux and everything, but then this morning he called my husband and told him he cant come because "he has something he has to do for his wedding that day". My hubby isn’t going to be able to make it to his best mans wedding(01/03/09) because he is in the army and they wont approve his leave. We have like a month until the wedding and i just think its shady to back out that close to the date. Am i overreacting or does it seem shady? We also already bought his groomsmen gift.

Oh we got married in a courthouse before he joined the Army, and are planning the big wedding! 12/19/08

Looking for a unique yet fun wedding favor for the guests with our names and dates. I have looked at can coozies and candles, but am looking for something a bit different if I can find it!!! Please help.

Also I am looking for a very unique gift for the groomsmen and best man…I want them to have very nice gifts to thank them.

Last-I need to know what I should put in a bag/basket in the hotel rooms of our out of town guests.

I am the best man and I’m confused if there is a special gift i’m supposed to get the newly weds, or just a normal gift. Should all the grooms man get together and buy one nice thing or should myself and the maid of honor go in on a nice gift. I read somewhere that it should be something special and engraved. anyway i’m very confused and don’t have alot of time to figure it out 1 week. PLEASE HELP!!!
